Key Responsibilities

•Polish milled, EDM, and turned surfaces in hardened H-13 and P-20 materials.
•Polish and detail machined die and mold surfaces to prescribed surface finish requirements.
•Maintain proper draw polish to release plastic parts and castings successfully.
•Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds and dies, including assembly and disassembly.
•Work with the Tool and Die team during spotting and fitting, support scheduled delivery dates, identify non-conformance, and partner with Quality Control for first piece qualifications.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•5+ years polishing plastic injection molds.
•3+ years of experience in mold maintenance.
•Proficiency with power and hand die polishing equipment for larger, multi-slide, die-cast dies (TIG welding a plus).
•Ability to climb and work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and other high structures, with capability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
