Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as senior support or lead transaction adviser on a range of settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder management.
  • •Lead relationships with trustees, sponsors and other transaction advisers to develop settlement opportunities and drive market engagement.
  • •Advise clients on their strategic Journey to Settlement, including market feasibility and preparation for approaching the settlement market.
  • •Develop new business opportunities and initiatives internally and externally, including marketing and communications activities.
  • •Coach, mentor and support direct and indirect reports to create future leaders and grow the Risk Settlement Group.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record of delivery on settlement transactions in the pension risk transfer market (buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions).
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead relationships with transaction stakeholders.
  • •Ability to run transactions on time and on budget and take a central role in new business opportunities and initiatives.
  • •Experience advising clients on strategic pathways to settlement and feasibility, including preparation for approaching the settlement market.
  • •Ability to coach, mentor and develop direct and indirect reports to create future leaders.
