Job Summary

Build and improve the end-to-end reliability lifecycle for large-scale, globally distributed, fault-tolerant ads systems. Partner from system design through launch reviews, deployments, operations, and refinements while delivering tools that enhance availability, scalability, and operability. Monitor service health (availability/latency), drive sustainable incident response and postmortems, and rotate on-call across continents. Work on Unix/Linux, networking, and automation to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage in and improve the lifecycle of ads systems from system design consulting through launch reviews, deployment, operation, and refinement.
•Build availability of services deployed across multiple data centers globally.
•Deliver tools/software to improve reliability, scalability, and operability of services.
•Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall service health.
•Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems, including participating in on-call rotations across continents.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or similar technical field) or equivalent practical experience.
•Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems and IP networking.
•Experience programming in at least one of: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, or Go.
•Experience in problem solving for application issues and/or production operations.
•Experience automating routine tasks.
