Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite large new and renewal property accounts to meet financial targets and grow the property portfolio.
  • •Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms with brokers and proactively manage capacity.
  • •Contribute to the regional execution of the global underwriting strategy for the Property line of business.
  • •Support portfolio performance by steering underwriting teams and coordinating with functional areas (Distribution, Risk Consulting, Claims, Operations).
  • •Coach, train, and develop less experienced underwriting staff and represent Allianz Commercial externally to market stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in property underwriting or as a broker in the Property line of business.

  • •Ability to assess risk exposures and natural hazards relevant to the Property line of business.
  • •A degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Law, or a related discipline (preferred).
