Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the lead mechanical engineer coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver projects within budget and on schedule, managing the mechanical team (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing)
•Develop detailed specifications for mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, air handling units) and write reports based on findings
•Ensure discipline plans meet overall project scope and schedule; stay current on codes and technologies for mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems
•Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs, and attend site visits, meetings, and commissioning activities
•Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate chiller systems with data center infrastructure and identify energy optimization opportunities

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; ten (10) years of relevant experience in mechanical design/engineering for data center infrastructure or equivalent
•Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
•Experience with HVAC, piping and fire suppression system design and construction
•Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain client relationships
•Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software
