Senior Principal Software Engineer leading end-to-end software activities for aerospace/defense systems. Key Responsibilities

•Lead software engineering activities throughout the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, modernization, sustainment, and/or related engineering efforts.
•Develop, implement, and enhance software solutions, technologies, products, systems, processes, standards, and/or capabilities across a variety of mission areas.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, stakeholders, vendors, and/or engineering disciplines to define requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver mission-critical capabilities.
•Apply expert technical knowledge and domain expertise to solve highly complex challenges and deliver innovative software solutions that support customer and business objectives.
•Lead significant technical efforts, initiatives, and/or projects while serving as a subject matter expert and technical authority within their discipline.

Key Requirements

•Experience developing software applications, systems, or solutions using programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or similar languages.
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
