Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute water resources aspects of mining projects, including environmental assessments, permitting, engineering design, ESG considerations, and water stewardship.
  • •Conduct climate, hydrological, and hydraulic assessments; develop water management plans; perform water balance and climate change modelling; and design water management infrastructure.
  • •Perform dam break analyses and consequence classification assessments, and prepare technical documents for senior review.
  • •Support non-mining projects in the UK and Ireland, including Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS design.
  • •Assist with client relationship development and business development, collaborating across disciplines and supporting senior staff; travel for site work as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc (or equivalent) in Water Resource Engineering or Civil Engineering with hydrology and hydraulics modules, or a BSc in Geography or Environmental Sciences with a hydrology module; MSc in hydrology and/or including hydraulic design is advantageous.
  • •Strong technical knowledge with report writing skills.
  • •Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
  • •Ability to work openly and collaboratively in a team, with good organisational and time management skills.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
Education:Bachelor's in Water Resource Engineering or Civil Engineering (with hydrology and hydraulics modules); or Geography or Environmental Sciences (with a hydrology module)
