Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from the press, stack and place on pallets, print pallet labels, and ensure correct product loading for material handling.
  • •Perform quality checks by reviewing for quality and accuracy, ensuring jobs are complete and error-free, and notifying operators of issues.
  • •Handle press downtime, including webbing the press, assisting operators, cleaning areas, and maintaining safe ink/solvent and equipment handling.
  • •Execute make-ready tasks such as purging stacks/tables/press consoles, changing impression rollers and stacker/print unit components, and setting up/breaking down doctor blades safely.
  • •When applicable, operate roll stand and forklift equipment for mounting rolls, splicing/recording, recycling support, loading/unloading, and maintaining required inspections and paperwork.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) with one to three years of related production experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform press and material-handling tasks.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training to operate company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive tasks.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and work more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week as needed.
