Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the point of contact for the Sales team by creating accurate takeoffs and quotations for bridge and tunnel projects.
  • •Prepare estimates including materials, engineering time, shop labor, subcontract scope (if required), and shipping/handling charges.
  • •Evaluate project bid specifications and drawings to ensure Sales is informed for proper and competitive market positioning.
  • •Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to understand internal capabilities for bid pricing.
  • •Partner with Procurement to obtain subcontract material and labor pricing with required lead times.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in Engineering or Construction discipline; Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is preferred.
  • •Previous related experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, general construction, or bridge construction is preferred.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP or ProCore experience is preferred.
  • •Thorough understanding of contract documents with the ability to respond to commercial and technical inquiries.
  • •Strong technical aptitude to provide technical support and product recommendations.
