Job Summary

Own daily and monthly P&L production for equities trading desks covering structured and exotic products. Reconcile actual results versus trader estimates with flash/variance analysis, perform front-to-back reconciliations, and support month-end close, disclosures, and controls. Lead team processes and projects, collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Trade Capture, and risk/technology stakeholders, and continuously improve workflows through automation and system UAT.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the team’s daily and monthly processes, producing and reporting daily P&L to Front Office and senior management.
•Reconcile actual P&L with trader estimates and deliver flash/actual variance analysis.
•Perform front-to-back analysis and reconciliations from front office P&L and balance sheet to firm sub-ledgers.
•Execute month-end controls, ensuring management vs financial P&L variances remain within thresholds and support month-end close/disclosures.
•Lead projects for automation and process enhancement, including testing/UAT for systems changes and remediation of issues to mitigate operational risk.

Key Requirements

•Postgraduate degree or accounting qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant/CA, CFA L-3, FRM, MBA).
•5–7 years of industry experience in finance or product control/valuation control/market risk, especially structured and exotics products.
•Strong working knowledge of structured and exotic products, including associated risks and payoffs.
•People management leadership with strong communication and relationship-building across stakeholders.
•Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting concepts and global markets.
