Key Responsibilities

  • •Run ammonia refrigeration and chlorine systems with minimal supervision and continuously monitor ammonia system status in line with Process Safety Management.
  • •Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and boiler-related equipment, including troubleshooting and assisting experienced technicians.
  • •Install and set up equipment as needed and make necessary adjustments to the refrigeration system and related equipment.
  • •Complete preventative maintenance checks/inspections with required documentation and maintain shift log books and other paperwork.
  • •Provide shift pass-down to the following technician and assist within the department, including waste-water duties as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Understand ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • •Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in ammonia refrigeration or complete a formal training program/certification in place of experience.
