Job Function: Executive & General Management

Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret plans and perform independent technical assignments to ensure inspection and monitoring of construction activities on roadway and bridge construction projects.
  • •Verify that construction activities are performed according to the contract documents, including specifications, plans, standard plans, permits, policies and procedures.
  • •Perform materials testing using hand tools, gauges and/or instruments in accordance with FDOT requirements and scope of services.
  • •Use various engineering tools, equipment, instruments, and computers for performing technical tasks, problem solving and record keeping.
  • •Maintain detailed accurate records of operations and significant events: Complete and enter Daily Work Reports into client's database.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent
  • •7+ years of relevant construction inspection experience
  • •Knowledge of concepts, terminology and principles of road and bridge construction
  • •Highly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, process, methods and techniques
  • •Highly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
