Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive the settlement strategy for digital assets enabled by digital currencies, including target use cases, operating model, control framework, and delivery roadmap.
  • •Ensure end-to-end accountability for settlement solution outcomes from design through implementation to BAU readiness.
  • •Define settlement models and standards (e.g., DvP, PvP) and ensure they are fit-for-purpose across products and markets.
  • •Evolve and scale existing offerings (e.g., Orion, Digital Custody, collateral trading) by strengthening settlement connectivity and scalability.
  • •Coordinate cross-team inputs and lead through influence across a matrix organisation to deliver interoperability and controlled BAU adoption, including regulator and external partner engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in digital assets/digital currencies settlement strategy, market infrastructure connectivity, or post-trade/settlement transformation in financial services.
  • •Proven track record delivering complex, multi-party solutions across product, technology, operations, and control functions.
  • •Strong compliance and risk management experience operating in regulated environments.
  • •Domain knowledge of blockchain/DeFi practices and deep understanding of wallet management and operational controls.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and strategic execution, with clear written and verbal communication for senior governance.
