Job Summary

Lead onboarding and workforce development for associates in a manufacturing environment. Manage and coach direct reports including shift Training Advocates (and in some cases office-based Training Specialists), overseeing training materials, on-the-job and classroom delivery, and accurate training records. Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional leadership to implement training initiatives, report training program plans/status, and support community engagement when applicable. Drive team performance through work plans, metrics, and mentoring.

•Lead onboarding of new associates and support associate development through collaboration with manufacturing and cross-functional leadership.
•Provide reporting on training program plans and status.
•Lead the team in implementation of training initiatives and oversee training work plans, performance metrics, reports, and team expenses.
•Manage Training Advocates by extending onboarding, communicating and validating training materials, coordinating with trainers/experts, and facilitating on-the-job/classroom training.
•Manage Training Specialists when applicable, including community engagement, monitoring workforce/training trends, facilitating internal/external training programs, and leading train-the-trainer.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,200 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5 years working with or within a manufacturing environment.
•5 years leading teams (direct or indirect reporting).
•5 years in teaching or workforce development with experience in on-the-job training methods and workforce development programs.
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, HR organizational development, or an educational degree in a STEM field, or equivalent 10 years of work experience developing people.
•Excellent training facilitation, leadership, and communication skills, including 1:1 coaching and group presentation abilities.
