Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily physical security operations and develop and implement a comprehensive fire safety policy across the Airbus Belfast estate.
  • •Lead contingency planning exercises and ensure emergency response teams can deliver immediate, effective turnout in line with regulatory standards.
  • •Manage fire safety service providers to ensure compliance with safety management systems and BS9999, and act as focal point for local authorities on fire and rescue matters.
  • •Drive Airbus fire risk management by completing fire risk assessments, forecasting capital expenditure for mitigation, and harmonising safety reporting.
  • •Collaborate with Facility Management to ensure fire detection, suppression systems, and equipment are maintained to manufacturer specifications and national legislation.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised qualifications in both Fire Safety and Security Management.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in security management.

  • •Background in fire service or fire safety management within a commercial or industrial sector (desirable).
