Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and execute strategy for a unified, global observability platform aligned to long-term product vision and scalable engineering designs.
  • •Lead a telemetry data foundation revamp, transitioning legacy datastores to optimized, regionalized, multi-tenant telemetry pipelines.
  • •Design APIs, secure interfaces, and integration protocols connecting the unified data foundation to autonomous AI agents for real-time diagnostics and conversational query tools.
  • •Deconstruct monolithic monitoring setups into isolated, high-availability regional architectures to reduce blast radius and maintain global stability.
  • •Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver self-service developer tooling using GitOps-driven configuration models, automated schema enforcement, and quota/retention management.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software, systems, or platform engineering experience, including 3+ years in a similar technical leadership role in observability or large-scale distributed data systems.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, scaling, and operating core telemetry data engines (distributed search, time-series metrics, high-performance logging) at multi-petabyte scale.
  • •Practical knowledge of structuring, schema-enforcing, and cleaning high-volume telemetry streams for LLMs, semantic search, and RAG pipelines.
  • •Experience standardizing telemetry collection using frameworks such as OpenTelemetry and implementing SLO-driven alert governance.
  • •Strong software engineering experience (ideally Go, Java, or Python) building production-grade automated tooling and real-time data ingestion pipelines.
