Key Responsibilities

  • •Craft, implement, debug, and validate firmware features on reference hardware/software and in pre-silicon emulation/simulation environments.
  • •Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project planning activities.
  • •Build and complete clear documentation for software produced.
  • •Support development work across internal and external platforms.
  • •Engage in x86 firmware development and debug boundary issues between firmware and hardware, including waveform-level root-cause analysis.

  • •Currently enrolled in a US-based university Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Knowledge or experience in low-level BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
  • •Experience with low-level programming languages C/C++ and knowledge of hardware architectures.
  • •Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and embedded controller structure.
  • •Knowledge of source control, debuggers, compilers, and system-wide debugging across software to firmware to hardware.
