Job Summary

Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of automation software for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. You’ll integrate factory systems (equipment control, MES, yield management, SPC), design real-time interfaces using SEMI standards, and drive scalable, robust architectures. You’ll partner with manufacturing, IT, and quality teams, mentor juniors, and help influence product roadmaps through advanced analytics and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop, and deploy automation solutions with partner organizations across wafer prep, die prep, and assembly test manufacturing; interface with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automated MES systems.
•Partner with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, process engineering, and quality teams to understand business needs and translate them into automation solutions.
•Design and implement real-time communication interfaces using SEMI standards (SECS/GEM, GEM300).
•Maintain and improve software architecture, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
•Lead root-cause analysis and system-level debugging for complex integration issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,600 - 284,580 annually

•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
•7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing automation, systems integration, or related areas.
•5+ years' experience with database systems (such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
•5+ years' experience with yield management systems (YMS), statistical process control (SPC), and automated yield/SPC workflows.
•Hands-on experience with SEMI communication standards (SECS/GEM, EDA/Interface A, GEM300).
