Key Responsibilities

•Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead catenary systems (OCS), and third rail systems.
•Support the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
•Perform calculations related to voltage drop, current flow, and power system performance.
•Assist in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
•Conduct field inspections and site visits to gather data and observe construction activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS + 4 years relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Understanding of electrical power systems and circuit analysis and electrical theory
•Familiarity with AC and DC power concepts
•Knowledge of power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM Power Tools)
•Knowledge of Traction Power Load Flow Simulation Software’s (e.g., Train, ETRAX, OpenPowerNet)
