Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete supplier RFQs and work with suppliers on obsolescence compliance and training.
  • •Prepare supplier profiles for management and perform part analytics to assign parts to proper commodity families.
  • •Support Supplier Account Managers with supplier management tasks, including meeting and presentation preparation, quarterly business reviews, and capacity reviews.
  • •Perform buyer functions such as creating, re-scheduling, and canceling POs per MRP; call suppliers for status and expedite materials.
  • •Resolve accounts payable issues related to PO invoice and receipt discrepancies, find alternate/emergency sources, and mitigate excess POs and inventory through supplier negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •Student must be pursuing a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related major.
  • •Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
  • •Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • •Excellent listening, writing, quantitative/qualitative, and oral communication skills.
  • •Data analytics skills (e.g., advanced Excel, working with multiple data sets).
