Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum according to blueprint specifications while meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • •Set up, operate, and perform periodic maintenance on a variety of machines (including press brakes, laser, welders, and punch/shear equipment).
  • •Maintain expected job progress and communicate concerns appropriately.
  • •Support continuous improvement and perform root cause analysis for quality or production issues.
  • •Measure and inspect finished parts, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot errors; cross-train and stand in as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Minimum one year of experience as a machine operator or graduate of a machine certificate program.
  • •No relocation benefit; must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Sumter facility.
  • •Preferred: experience with sheet metal fabrication and standard punch/bend tooling and processes.
