Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide line management responsibilities for Survival equipment, ensuring functional direction, duty of care, and adherence to safety, welfare, health & safety, and Product Safety & Environment.
  • •Deliver shop activities in line with the shop component repair plan, supporting Operational Readiness and KPM targets for the Salam Project.
  • •Review maintenance practices, identify capacity/capability improvements, and raise concerns for malpractice affecting airworthiness or safety.
  • •Maintain operational readiness of shop equipment (tooling, approved data, calibrations) and ensure maintenance tasks are completed to quality standards with accurate recording in ESS.
  • •Provide training, consolidation, and counterpart development for RSAF and BAE Systems personnel; maintain competency currency for Martin Baker Parachute Fabrications pack and Personal Survival pack authorisations; conduct oversight and anti-FOD surveillance.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship acceptable to M&CA.
  • •At least 7 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment with formal recorded workplace-applied training, or 3 years on the same aircraft type.
  • •Leadership skills with proven ability to supervise engineering personnel.
  • •Relevant type training and equipment-specific training if required.
  • •Obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level throughout employment in KSA.
