Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice and leadership for SEA’s mobile commercial legal team on commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters affecting the mobile business.
  • •Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial agreements while assessing potential risks and advising on laws and regulations.
  • •Partner with executives, sales teams, and internal departments to support commercial objectives while managing company risk.
  • •Review packaging, warranties, user interfaces, end-user license agreements, and other terms and conditions of service.
  • •Provide guidance on regulatory issues (including telecommunications and environmental regulations) and support continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal operations for commercial transactions and AI adoption.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate from an Accredited US Law School with 10+ years of legal practice experience.
  • •10+ years legal experience supporting mobile consumer sales, marketing, and operations.
  • •Member in good standing of one US State Bar, with ability to become member in good standing of the TX bar or qualify as in-house counsel in TX.
  • •Experience providing legal support to mobile retail and/or B2B sales and/or marketing teams.
  • •Ability to direct outside counsel cost-effectively and make decisions, set direction, and measure performance.
