Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the delivery of building services projects from concept through completion within a multidisciplinary team under experienced engineers.
  • •Assist with electrical load calculations, plant sizing, and coordination of plant rooms and distribution routes.
  • •Prepare technical reports appropriate to each design stage and assist with developing technical specifications for selected systems and equipment.
  • •Evaluate technical options, document design decisions, and support progression of designs through concept, developed, and detailed stages.
  • •Support site inspections and monitoring installations during construction and commissioning, taking on increasing responsibility over time as experience grows.

Key Requirements

  • •An accredited Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Degree accreditation by a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE is preferred.
  • •A strong interest in building services, sustainable design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • •Relevant industry experience through internships, placements, work experience, or project-based activities would be advantageous.
  • •Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with interest in working toward professional registration (IEng or CEng).
