Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts including institutional agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and technology/licensing arrangements.
  • •Manage the full contract lifecycle from intake and redlining through approvals, execution, archiving, renewal, and termination.
  • •Provide legal support as a point of contact for internal teams (e.g., procurement, operations, tech, finance) during commercial negotiations.
  • •Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and corporate governance requirements, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
  • •Maintain a centralized contract management system, monitor obligations and renewal deadlines, identify risks, and improve templates and processes while guiding teams on contract terms and legal risk considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree (LLB, JD, Mag. iur., LL.M., or equivalent).
  • •Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in-house legal, a regulatory authority, or a law firm.
  • •Strong understanding of Austrian and EU laws for international contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Experience handling official legal requests such as court orders or administrative inquiries.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
