Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver value-added cost management across complex Energy & Natural Resources projects.
  • •Produce cost estimates and planning, reconcile changes, and coordinate sources of cost information for discussions with contractors and stakeholders.
  • •Review design and contractor submissions, prepare written comments and executive summaries, and update cost estimates at design milestones.
  • •Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, change management, valuations, and manage post-contract variances and change-of-control processes.
  • •Manage monthly cost reporting and final accounts; coordinate funding data and VE sessions, and mentor talent as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •Experience working in the Natural Resources and Energy industry, preferably with large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
  • •RICS accreditation or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects, with strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
