Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and direct operations for the Buildings & Places business line in Canada, working with the Regional Business Line Leader to set objectives, KPIs, guidelines and targets.
  • •Build, coach, and retain a team of Operations Managers and Project Directors; support Operations Managers with development goals and optimize organizational structure.
  • •Oversee project delivery and client service including project oversight, staffing, workload balancing, and adherence to client scope/budget and company standards for quality, safety, and legislation.
  • •Act as a change leader by identifying and implementing business changes in processes, policies, tools, or staffing to meet market and workforce needs.
  • •Contribute hands-on to win strategies and successful project execution, represent the business line and region at events, and support corporate/regional initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Engineering, Planning or related field with 12 years of relevant Design and Building industry experience, including 4 years of leadership experience.
  • •15 years of increased supervisory, management and operational/financial experience with industry-related experience.
  • •Strong supervisory and leadership skills, including managing large teams of technical staff and leading leadership-level staff.
  • •Strong business acumen to identify, develop and plan business strategy efforts and analyze business results in the AEC industry.
  • •Proven delivery as a Project Manager on large complex projects and/or programs; PMP certification is an asset.
