Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Performs routine maintenance to radar infrastructure using trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, HVAC and electrical work
•Replaces batteries, prepares equipment for painting, cuts grass, trims, sprays herbicides, tests fire alarm systems and emergency lighting, and brazes ground screen and radial wires
•Assists tradesmen with electrical and HVAC work and supports related duties as assigned
•Maintains safety and regulatory compliance while working on a DoD facility
•Coordinates with site leadership to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks

Key Requirements

•HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
•At least three years of practical experience assisting in electrical, HVAC, and buildings/grounds maintenance
•Within 12 months of hire, qualify as a Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator (Registered Technician) and EPA certification to handle refrigerants (CAA Section 608 Type I and II)
•Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record to obtain authorization to drive company vehicles
•U.S. citizenship is required and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government DoD Secret clearance
