Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions and big data systems.
  • •Oversee creation and maintenance of the data platform and modernize the data platform.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems and data pipelines.
  • •Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices at scale.
  • •Coach and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet business priorities and data governance/security standards.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 14+ years of relevant experience; strong background leading large-scale data engineering solution development and deployment.
  • •Experience leading teams for design, development, and deployment of big data platforms and distributed data systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, Trino, and distributed data systems.
  • •Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks; ability to troubleshoot high-volume data environment issues.
  • •Experience with programming and tools such as Java, Python, SQL, and version control systems (e.g., Git), plus data governance/security/compliance standards.
