Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide delivery of high-voltage electrical substation designs for project work.
  • •Prepare substation plan/profile drawings, grounding, lightning protection, cable trench/cable tray, conduit layouts, and installation detail drawings.
  • •Perform electrical studies and design calculations (e.g., load flow, short circuit, Arc Flash, grounding, TOV, EMF, transformer and cable sizing) and write clear study reports.
  • •Coordinate design activities to maintain project schedules and support successful project completion; provide inputs on percent complete and estimated time to completion.
  • •Assist estimating and proposals, prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, review vendor drawings, and resolve site queries with occasional site inspections.
