Job Summary

Deliver workplace health, safety and HazMat solutions for clients within WSP’s Earth & Environment team. Key Responsibilities

  • •Recognise and measure workplace exposures affecting worker health from chemicals, pathogens, vibration, noise, and other contaminants.
  • •Provide advice on hazard control strategies including respirators and ventilation, contamination remediation, and training.
  • •Conduct asbestos and hazardous material audits in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential properties.
  • •Analyse data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports, guidance documents, and training materials.
  • •Support delivery of small to medium-sized projects, contribute to proposals, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Ideally a degree or diploma in Applied Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
  • •Asbestos Assessor License or relevant experience to obtain.
  • •Demonstrated experience in occupational hygiene or a related field such as chemistry, microbiology or human health.
  • •Hands-on experience in hazard identification, exposure monitoring and risk assessment.
  • •Experience using air sampling equipment and interpreting results (e.g. dust, fibres, asbestos).
