Job Summary

Lead the Geo for Self-Managed Customers team end to end, owning the Geo roadmap and execution for tenant-to-tenant replication that underpins disaster recovery. Drive reliability, correctness, and performance, deliver platform capabilities and API extensions to the Geo codebase, and maintain runbooks, guardrails, and escalation response. Partner with Product and embedded SMEs, manage a distributed team, track operational metrics, and participate in incident on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the roadmap and execution for the Geo product serving Self-Managed customers in close partnership with the Product Manager.
•Hire and develop a high-performing engineering team; the team is India-anchored with EMEA backend/fullstack hiring to improve timezone overlap.
•Own reliability, correctness, and performance of Geo replication that forms the core layer for disaster recovery.
•Deliver bug fixes, API extensions, and new capabilities to the shared Geo codebase, coordinating with Geo SMEs to unblock day-to-day commits.
•Build and maintain runbooks, guardrails, delivery/operational metrics, and ensure high-quality responses to Geo escalations; participate in incident management on-call rotation.
