Job Summary

Lead 3rd-shift production in a sensors high-mix value stream at Raytheon’s Circuit Card Manufacturing factory. You’ll oversee a growing team (10–15 assembly, inspection, and test employees), drive safe operations, and ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Manage workforce planning, scheduling, time/attendance, area layout and flow, and compliance with company policies. Use six sigma and lean methods to identify root causes and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure execution of schedule and cost while meeting quality, delivery, and safety goals.
•Lead and develop a 3rd-shift production team (initially 10–15 employees) with workforce planning and forecasting.
•Plan, organize, and direct the flow of production, including area layout and flow management.
•Maintain time and attendance tracking and ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
•Identify root causes of failure modes and implement corrective action plans using six sigma/lean methodologies with cross-functional partners.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
•Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience is required.
•Experience using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (or similar process improvement methodologies).
•Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred.
•Experience supervising bargaining unit employees and working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) is preferred.
