Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full-spectrum personal financial counseling to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Deliver one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings/presentations, and referral resources as appropriate.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and publicize Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle and respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience).

  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
  • •Must have an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certification.
