Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate briefs, scripts, and product concepts into storyboards and animatics for SaaS explainer videos with strong composition, typography, and visual craft.
  • •Partner with script writers, motion graphic designers, and producers to hand off storyboards that provide actionable direction for animators.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product Marketing, Product, and Demand Generation to ensure the visuals support project goals and business objectives.
  • •Iterate through creative review cycles, incorporating feedback quickly while keeping clarity and craft at a high standard.
  • •Develop reusable storyboard templates, frameworks, and visual conventions to improve explainer production speed and consistency.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional experience in storyboarding, visual development, or concept design for explainer videos, animation, or motion content.
  • •Ability to create visual storytelling through sequencing, pacing, and shot selection that makes information easy to follow and engaging.
  • •A strong portfolio showing you can translate scripts or briefs into clear, well-paced visual sequences (SaaS/product/technical subject matter is a plus).
  • •Proficiency with storyboarding/illustration tools including Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or dedicated storyboard software like Boords.
  • •Comfort working with abstract/technical concepts (software features, workflows, data) and making them clear for non-technical audiences.
