Lead the quality function at a pet food manufacturing site, owning the QMS and Pet Food Safety system, driving site transformation, and ensuring compliance with FSSC22000, GMP+, and HACCP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product transfers, supplier quality, audits, and KPIs while developing the quality culture and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and Pet Food Safety system, ensuring compliance with FSSC22000, GMP+, and internal standards.
•Lead pet food transformation activities, including risk assessments, validations, cleaning validation, zoning, and segregation strategies.
•Chair the HACCP team and continuously analyze and update food safety hazards arising from new product flows and raw materials.
•Responsible for Quality within Management of Change and product transfer projects, ensuring safe and compliant implementation.
•Ensure supplier and raw material quality through oversight of approval processes, monitoring, and management of pet food safety risks.

Key Requirements

•MSc/BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, Veterinary Medicine, or related field
•5–10 years of experience in quality within food, feed, or pet food industries
•Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
•Strong knowledge of FSSC22000, GMP+ and HACCP systems
•Experience in site transformation or brownfield projects preferred
