Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric pallet moving equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building and grounds, and preventative maintenance on batteries, battery chargers, racks, and carts as needed.
  • •Complete required training and become HAZMAT certified, including maintaining qualification and completing OSHA respirator medical evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •3 months of industrial maintenance, ammonia refrigeration maintenance experience, or completion of a technical school certification in industrial/ammonia refrigeration maintenance.

  • •Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across management levels.
  • •Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and work on your feet, moving throughout the facility for 12 hours.
  • •Willingness to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out required daily documentation.
