Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, defining outcomes and metrics and prioritizing a backlog by value, risk, dependency, and strategic priority.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering for correctness in money movement (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), reliability, latency, scalability, recovery, and security.
  • •Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX while defending decisions to engineering, compliance, or ops leaders.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy).
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop boundaries, evaluation approach, and handling when the model is unsure.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
  • •Solid system design foundation (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency).
  • •Comfort reviewing/challenging technical design docs and sketching architecture and sequences.
  • •Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain (payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Hands-on ability to apply LLM-based products with eval-able features, realistic understanding of hallucination/drift/data gaps, and clear human-in-the-loop boundaries.
