Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and install pipework systems in large and small-bore applications using different materials such as copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel
  • •Cut, bend, and weld pipes using hand tools and mechanical equipment, and install pipework
  • •Install utilities aboard ship (e.g., sinks, showers, and toilets)
  • •Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to drawings and specifications
  • •Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures, and maintain accurate records of work carried out

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 40,016 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Have a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds or equivalent) when applying
  • •Experience fabricating and installing pipework systems using tools and equipment for major projects
  • •Solid knowledge of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques
  • •Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications
  • •Understand SHE, COSHH, and risk-assessment requirements and apply them consistently on the job
