Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end delivery of the annual accounts cycle for 7,000+ UK property companies, including capacity planning, allocation, and work in progress.
  • •Ensure Companies House and HMRC deadlines are met through planning and controls to minimize late filings.
  • •Act as senior technical escalation point for UK statutory accounts and corporation tax matters under FRS 105 and FRS 102 Section 1A, stepping in on complex cases.
  • •Lead adoption of AI and automation across the operation and provide feedback to shape tool development.
  • •Build and lead a 45+ person Manila team across accounting, customer support, and other functions, managing recruitment and retention through supervisors and team leads.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA or equivalent qualification with technical depth to challenge and support a high-performing accounting team.
  • •Proven experience leading teams (30+ people) through a management layer in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • •Strong operational understanding of capacity planning, productivity, and quality—able to turn operational data into action.
  • •Experience improving how work gets done by challenging existing processes and adopting better ways of working.
  • •Interest in AI and automation, with comfort driving adoption and providing practical feedback.
