Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls/terminations, system equipment/components, rack fabrication and wiring, and layout for equipment/metal fabrication
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects, coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager
  • •Read and interpret project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints
  • •Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors; test point-to-point cabling and system functionality
  • •Communicate daily job site status to the Project Manager and act as on-site customer liaison for change requests

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience
  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •Intermediate proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) including conduit runs and cable trays
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with audiovisual equipment and systems
  • •Ability to lead site teams on small projects and use hand/power tools safely and efficiently
