Quality-focused hardware quality engineer responsible for leading supplier and contract manufacturer quality programs for datacenter hardware, overseeing incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection, collaborating with Test Engineering on system-level testing, and driving root-cause analyses and CAPA to ensure every Etched system meets performance and reliability standards.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead quality assurance for overseas and US-based suppliers, contract manufacturers and integrators (semiconductor, PCBA, L10 servers, L11 racks).
•Establish and maintain incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection processes to ensure compliance with Etched standards.
•Partner with Test Engineering to define system-level test coverage, burn-in protocols, and reliability validation.
•Drive failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (8D, CAPA).
•Track, analyze, and report on quality metrics (yield, defect density, escapes, DPPM) to both engineering and operations stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 225,000 annually
