Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
  • •Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members.
  • •Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures, and review programs for conformance with Department standards.
  • •Support, oversee, and coordinate engineering production activities for an operating unit.
  • •Initiate and maintain contact with senior-level management and provide authoritative decision-making, including dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) and the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP (if registered in another state).
  • •Relevant transportation project engineering experience (six years total engineering experience, two in relevant transportation projects).
