Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment and special-purpose machines on the night shift. Install and adjust machinery, use hand and power tools for repairs, welding, and part changes, and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to determine needed repairs. Install equipment and electrical components, dismantle defective parts using hoists and cranes, and keep systems running through lubrication and cleaning. Work under direction from the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts as needed.
•Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and coordinate approval with the head mechanic.
•Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
•Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts and complete lubrication and cleaning tasks.

Key Requirements

•At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance.
•Previous experience in plant machine maintenance, including hydraulics and electrical work.

•Welding experience is preferred (but you can work around it).
