Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, audit, configure, programme, install, commission, upgrade and migrate Honeywell control and safety systems, including Experion PKS and legacy TPS/TDC 3000 environments.
  • •Diagnose and resolve issues affecting distributed control system hardware, software, input/output, control loops, field devices and network connections.
  • •Support Honeywell and third-party systems including LCN, UCN, PLC, SCADA, safety-system solutions and industrial networking.
  • •Provide first-response technical support and act as a key Honeywell contact at customer sites.
  • •Build trusted customer relationships, understand operational needs, and identify appropriate solutions and service opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience within a field service engineering or related technical role, with relevant practical, placement, or apprenticeship experience welcome.
  • •Understanding of automation control, instrumentation, and electrical/electronic systems, with the ability to learn new technologies.
  • •Experience with automation control systems and environments including Experion PKS and TPS/TDC 3000 (highly desirable).
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across distributed control system hardware, software, input/output, control loops, field devices, and network connections.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication with customers and colleagues, with a proactive, self-motivated approach in demanding environments with limited supervision.
