Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop new mechanical product ideas and concepts with project engineers based on input from product managers and chief engineers.
  • •Create 3D models, 2D and assembly drawings, and build/release product BOMs per SBD process.
  • •Analyze design integrity and functionality using mechanical theory calculations, CAE, dimensional stack-ups, and DFMEA.
  • •Work with suppliers to develop new components and support engineering sample lots.
  • •Maintain engineering drawing/file records and engineering change notices for product manufacturing and quality assessment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •1+ year of experience in the design or implementation of mechanical products.
  • •Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and mechanical design theory.
  • •Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • •Proficient with at least one 3D software (CATIA preferred).
