Key Responsibilities

  • •Own deployment and operations of SmithDB across cloud environments, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, and automated failover
  • •Build and maintain infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm or equivalent) to provision, configure, and scale SmithDB nodes
  • •Own Kubernetes infrastructure for multi-tenant distributed database services and operational reliability
  • •Build and improve deployment pipelines, rollout strategies, and infrastructure-as-code for the storage layer
  • •Drive reliability engineering (incident response, postmortems, SLOs, disaster recovery) and capacity planning/cost efficiency

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE with hands-on work
  • •Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
