Job Summary

Ensure the cinema inventory database is accurate and that stock takes follow established policy. Manage inventory levels against business budgets by overseeing purchasing, replenishment, storage, allocation, and compliance with standards and OHS regulations. Investigate variances, maintain records across POS and ordering systems, monitor product quality and expiry dates, and run spot checks. Prepare inventory, sales, and cost analysis reports and drive action plans to reduce COGS, waste, and losses.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage cinema inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations and an excellent customer experience.
•Oversee purchasing, replenishment, storage, and stock allocation while maintaining compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and OHS regulations.
•Monitor stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with Cinema Managers and Inventory Supervisors to resolve inventory issues.
•Maintain accurate inventory records, POS systems, ordering systems, and SKU management within approved inventory parameters.
•Control COGS, minimize wastage and stock variances, validate inventory transactions, and prepare inventory, sales, stock take, and cost analysis reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
•3–5 years of inventory management or supply chain management experience in a food service or retail environment.
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
•Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
