Install, start up, commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems for commercial customers by blending HVAC and controls expertise. Coordinate with team leaders and customers to plan on-site work, keep current on Trane direct digital control products, and maintain safety standards and accountability of company assets while supporting occasional overtime and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Start up and commission new systems for environmental-control installations in commercial settings.
•Diagnose and repair environmental-control systems using HVAC/control, electronics, airflow, refrigeration theory, and control/mechanical techniques.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and perform servicing of products and equipment to ensure customer satisfaction at customer locations.
•Coordinate on-site installation and repair work by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing schedules with team leaders and customers.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability by recording asset use, wear, and conditions, including flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 38.13 - 47.35 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, reckless/careless, or license suspension) in the prior 3 years.
•Previous experience with DDC (direct digital control) systems preferred.
•EPA preferred.
