Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities and ensuring instructions are carried out timely and correctly.
•Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.
•Assist the maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment; assign maintenance techs to equipment during process periods.
•Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
•Train maintenance techs on equipment and fill in for absenteeism or assist in other areas of the plant.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.75 hourly

Key Requirements

•Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and complete daily documentation in the system.
•Ability to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
•Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers.
•Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting 70 lbs. periodically and working on your feet for up to 12 hours.
•Complete all required training for the job.
